What you Need to Play
5-7 Miniatures for each player
Each player needs a Warband. These can be anything from a band of rag-tag thieves or cultists, to the retinue of a war priest or mercenary captain.
Blight is miniatures agnostic, meaning you can use whatever miniatures you think are cool. As a rule of thumb, the game is designed around what is known as 28" or 32" miniatures, but as long as all players use the same, you can use whatever you want. In the same vein, the game is set in a unspecified dark age period, but if you want to play with orcs and ratmen, or want black powder weapons, you can do that too (the variants chapter has rules and guidelines for both).
Many scenarios will ask you to use a set of Non-Player Character models. For the purpose of narrative, these will be either villagers or soldiers/guards.
Terrain is a very important part of the game. The scenarios of the game center around either villages or wilderness. For village missions you will need at least 4 houses (or something that resembles houses). For everything else, a good mix of hills, forrests, ruins, rivers, hedges, rocks and all kinds of other scenery will do. The game can be played even if you only have terrain for eaither villages or wilderness.
